Murcia Workshop

Acabo de llegar a casa de una sesion de taller sobre herramientas online en Murcia. Hemos estado trabajando durante tres horas y media. La impresion? agotados al final, pero espero que no provoque rechazo. A veces es difícil encontrar la medida. Los compañeros muy amables, algo habitual pero que siempre se agradece. No es fácil mantener la atención tanto rato y conun tema asi.
Trato de no pasarme y también de ofrecer algo a cada uno pero no siempre lo consigo. br>

En fin, a ver mañana que tal. He venido pensando como enfocar la ultima sesion para que al final quede lo mas practico posible y voy a cambiar un poco el plan. Voy a hacer lo que he pensado lo mas rapido posible y a la cama.

Esta es la primera vez que me permito reflexionar en el blog sin mucho sentido, cosas que pienso para mi.Puede que lo borre mañana.

los lunis y el inglés

Good news. Yo diría más, la Televisión pública debería apostar por no doblar series y otros programas en inglés u otras lenguas, sería de gran ayuda para todos. Ya está claro que la televisión está enseñando de todo a nuestros niños y jovenes. Esto sería de lo mejor que podría transmitir. No hay más que ver cómo hablan los griegos inglés,

Proyectos educalia

Espero que las vacaciones os estén sentando a todos estupendamente. Yo estoy aprendiendo a perder un poco el tiempo después de los duros años de tesis, y me sale regular, pero aprendo y llevo días que apenas hago nada de provecho.

Quería comentar que Nuria De Salvador de European Schoolnet http://www.eun.org/ me ha mandado una información sobre unos proyectos colaborativos de educalia desde internet. Necesitan profesores que les ayuden a probarlos y difundirlos.

Christmas song

It feels like Christmas is already here. We all are speeding up, getting ready to have a good time with the family and friends. I really need a rest now.

Today, Pilar Almendros, a colleague from Seville has sent me a CD with some of the songs I've got on my website. I've already got 3 CDs with almost all the songs. The first two CDs were collected by Dionisio (an "asesor" from Murcia). Many thanks to both of them.
In this last CD, Pilar included the Christmas son "jingle bell rock". I couldn't help preparing the activities. It's a lively song and I hope my students like it. We'll do it at the end of the week. Thanks Pilar.

I'm also very happy about the experience my students and I are having with the reading blog,
they are doing very well.

Another novelty is the WebQuest about AIDS I've prepared together with my friend Mercedes de la casa. And a reading exercise about AIDS, too.

Bernie Dodge in Barcelona

I had a good time in Barcelona with all the people from IEARN and WebQuest.Cat; I came back a week ago, but didn't have time to put some pictures on the Web till today. Have a look at them. I met Carme Barba, Sebastiá Capella, Jordi Adell, Moises, Ramón, and many others. I learnt some Catalán, too.
I also met some old friends from Valencia and Galicia and I met Bernie Dodge, the creator of the WebQuest.

I really enjoyed the weekend. Thanks a lot to everybody

profes de bachillerato en Andalucía

Esto va dirigido a aquellos que estáis dando o habéis dado recientemente bachillerato. Un compañero me ha pedido que lo ponga en contacto con profesores que quisieran participar en la investigación sobre la prueba de selectividad que está haciendo para su tesis. La colaboración consistiría en rellenar un cuestionario. Ya imagino que es un poco rollo pero la verdad es que no cuesta mucho y el chico estaría muy agradecido. Ahora mismo esta en Estados Unidos con una beca y la única forma que tiene de ponerse en contacto es a través del correo.

I'm flying to Barcelona this morning. Bernie Dodge, the creator of the WebQuest is coming to a conference. It's really exciting meeting someone you have follow for years. I'm meeting Carme Barba and all the others working with WebQuest for the first time, too.

problemas con wanadoo

Por si a alguien les interesa, me gustaría contar brevemente el perjuicio que wanadoo está causando a la asociación GRETA de cuyas páginas me encargo con gusto desde hace años (sin cobrar, claro). Ha habido numerosos momentos en que no han estado visibles las páginas, como es el caso de ahora y por eso debo tenerlas alojadas en mi web . Tenemos abierta una incidencia desde el día 17 de junio de esta año sin resolver, he llamado infinidad de veces desde entonces. Y para colmo no nos ha sido posible cambiar el dominio infogreta.org a otro servidor cuando hartos de la situación lo hemos intentado (mantienen el dominio como secuestrado, no sé ni como). La cuestión es que o yo soy muy torpe y no entiendo nada o nos están tomando el pelo de manera vil. Pido disculpas por lo que está ocurriendo a los socios porque en cierto modo yo soy responsable de la web pero os aseguro que estoy haciendo todo lo posible y las cuentas de teléfono al 902011900 de wanadoo para tratar de solucionarlo lo atestiguan.

Blogging is becoming a new trend and I like experimenting, but only if there are any practical reasons. I've been thinking about using this new tool for a year or so, but only recently I've decided that it could be of any help. I had a forum where everyone could post a message, but in the last months there were too many "inappropriate" messages, and I was tired of deleting them, so I deleted the whole forum.
So, if you want me to ask something or do anything for you, let me know by e-mail and I will post it on this blog.
